So the MNRG Commercials are in full swing. We’re definitely upping that bar for this season’s spots. Here are a few shots from Saturday’s carnage.

Ms. DC Ice and Jamey will be speaking at the AIGA Luncheon series today at the International Market Square around 11:30. They’ll be discussing the strange dynamic of their two very different medium types coming together to create one beautiful little piece.
Its always a happy day around here when someone turns a year older. Ice Cream cakes are our specialty… at least buying them, that is.
That’s right everyone, its an election year. So that means another round of Poster Offensive will be hitting the galleries of Minneapolis/St. Paul this fall. The first of these events will be opening August 29th at the Black Dog Cafe in St. Paul (That’s right! Right across the street, opening night of the GOP Convention). Then second is then on October 3rd at the Frank Stone Gallery in NE Mpls. A few of us Sevnthsinners will be participating, as well as a myriad of other fabulous designers from the metro area here. So make sure you get out and support this wonderful promotion of peace and democracy.

Some friends back in the CO are creating a bit of fuss with their new custom toy project entitled Soft & Furry. The premise is that they are building these custom handmade wooden toys in limited runs and would like to get some input from fellow enthusiasts on the idea in form of logos. It boils down to a submission contest where the winner of this 8 week long battle will get a ton of PR and barrels of rad swag. Check out the Soft & Furry site for more info.
